TRAINFIRE NOTES*Check Clear (This is applicable to a few of your other drills. Very Important!)1. Take out magazine(if applicable)
2. Cock rifle 3 times (minimum)
3. Pull charging handle all the way
4. Look into chamber
5. Inspect for any rounds inside chamber (If there are/is round(s), return to step 2)
6. If no rounds present in chamber, sound off *CLEAR!*
7. Put to Semi (if applicable)
8. Take aim at a safe environment, squeeze trigger
Loading of rifle
1. Take out magazine
2. Check magazine, if empty, sound off *Empty magazine, check*
3. Simulate change of magazine
4. Check magazine, if loaded, sound off *Loaded magazine, check*
5. Load magazine into rifle
6. Cock your rifle
7. Rifle/Weapon loaded

2. Check magazine, if loaded, sound off *Loaded magazine, check*
3. Simulate change of magazine4. *Check clear your rifle starting from Step 2 5. Check magazine, if empty, sound off *Empty magazine, check*
6. Load the empty magazine
7. Close dust cover
8. Rifle/Weapon unloaded
Immediate Action(IA) drill for No Feeding
(Using the acronym: SSPORTSS)
1. S - Put rifle to SAFE
2. S - SLAP the magazine
3. P - PULL the charging handle all the way
4. O - OBSERVE the chamber (Check if round has entered)
5. R - RELEASE the charging handle
6. T - TAP the forward assist (ONLY applicable for M16. You've been using the AR15 for TF)
7. S - Put rifle to SEMI
8. S - SQUEEZE trigger
Immediate Action drill for Half/Double/Triple Feeding
1. Put rifle to Safe
2. Take out magazine
3. *Check clear your rifle starting from Step 2
4. Load magazine back
5. Cock your rifle
6. Squeeze trigger

Stripping of rifle1. Take out magazine
2. Cock rifle 3 times (minimum)
3. Pull charging handle all the way
4. Look into chamber
5. Inspect for any rounds inside chamber (If there are/is round(s), return to step 2)
6. If no rounds present in chamber, sound off *CLEAR!*
7. Put rifle to Safe
8. Slightly push and then pull the TAKE DOWN PIN to open up the rifle
9. Take out the CHARGING HANDLE and BOLT CARRIER GROUP
10. Take out RETAINING PIN
11. Take out FIRING PIN
12. Take out BOLT CAM PIN
13. Take out BOLT
14. Rifle stripped
^Note: While you take out the rifle parts, place them in order of how you took them out from left to right. Magazine, Charging handle, Retaining pin, Firing pin, Bolt cam pin, Bolt, Bolt carrier
Assembling of rifle1. Put the BOLT into the BOLT CARRIER
2. Fit BOLT CAM PIN to secure BOLT
3. Flick or pull BOLT out of BOLT CARRIER to have it in place
4. Put the FIRING PIN back
5. Secure FIRING PIN using RETAINING PIN
6. BOLT CARRIER GROUP done
7. Put CHARGING HANDLE and BOLT CARRIER GROUP into respective positions
8. Close your rifle and lock it with the TAKE DOWN PIN
9. Switch your rifle to Semi
10. Take aim and squeeze trigger
11. Load back the empty magazine
12. Close DUST COVER
13. Rifle assembled
These are the just for reference. To really be proficient in your rifle technical handling, it's all about practice. So, take all Trainfire sessions in the future seriously and ask if you do not understand. Instructors are more than willing to answer your queries.
