Proper Uniform DecorumDear all,
Please be reminded of the following points regarding the donning of No. 1 uniform:
Refrain from reporting or leaving camp in half-No. 1- uniform.
A white t-shirt is recommended to be worn with the no. 1 uniform.
Peak caps must be clean. Peak cap covers must be washed if dirty and visor is to be free from fingerprints or dust.
Uniform must be properly ironed. Be reminded that there is not supposed to be any lines on the sleeves.
The uniform, including gloves, must be clean and free from stains.
No belts, with the exception of sword belts, are to be worn.
No bulky items are to be in the pockets.
White socks are to be worn with white boots. Socks worn should extend above the boots.
Boots are to be free from mud, stains and must be polished.
Also note of the following pointers for No. 3 uniform:
Uniform must be ironed and not crumpled.
Peak cap is to be clean.
Shirt is to be washed and free from stains.
Shirt is to be tucked in to show the belt.
No bulky items are to be in the pockets.
Shoes are to be polished.
Cadets are to be in their proper attire for training. Failing to do so could result in the cadet being removed from the contingent. See you guys at the next parade.
